The Bunkhouse at the JR Ranch . . . and intimate weddings along with the JR Ranch Horse Stables & Arena is a family-owned and operated by Richard Rudis located less than 3 miles from the All-American City of Lincoln surrounding the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Weddings and other events

What a picturesque location for your intimate wedding with so many amazing spots to select from. With different pricing depending on your wedding size, we cater to the intimate ceremonies with up to 80 guests at a time. Economically easy on the pocket book plus a beautiful pond as a backdrop makes The Bunkhouse at the JR Ranch an ideal solution. Other event options we can accommodate are family reunions, baby showers/announcements, celebrations of life and birthday parties.

Here at the ranch we offer a workspace and free Wifi for those who need to take care of those business tasks while relaxing.

Relax

Take a romantic stroll around our adjacent pond that 's a favorite resting place for Canadian geese or climb in our peddle-boat and take a ride around the pond while looking for bass and carp swimming around.

Fun

Located nearby are two fun-packed casinos - Thunder Valley Resort and The Hard Rock Casino-Sacramento at Fire Mountain that both feature 24-hour gambling excitement with 5-Star cuisine restaurants and top name entertainment in their concert venues.

Ranch Experience

If you ever wanted to co-mingle with some farm animals, here's your chance. You will find Horses, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Bob the Cow, 2 donkeys, one mini horse and Mini-Pigs. For a small additional fee, you have the option of brushing down a horse, learn how to put a halter harness on and walk these majestic animals around the property. Then lets go feed all of the animals treat, right from your hand. Afterwards you can learn how to drive a tractor and to finish it off, go for a carriage ride down our country road.

The City of Lincoln, an All-America City, is less than 3 miles away offering several boutique shops and eateries and depending on the season, catch a Lincoln Potters Baseball game.
